Nivea Express Hydration Primer

Nivea Express Hydration Primer Review

I used the normal/combination NIVEA Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer but it also comes in dry and sensitive. I have combination skin – more oily. Although it isn’t targeted towards those with oily skin, I thought I would give this a try for using under my makeup. You can also use this on it’s own.

I prepped my skin with my usual cleanse and tone routine and then applied the primer primarily on my t-zone area. I skipped my usual Olay moisturiser on the first go. The Nivea primer did absorb quite quickly and after a few minutes I applied my make-up. I found the primer to be very light and smooth on my skin. I noticed that my make-up looked a lot smoother on my skin, especially my forehead. Due to my oily skin the primer didn’t keep my make-up fixed for as long as hoped but it definitely did it’s job of providing a smooth base for my make-up and keeping my dry areas moisturised.

I would assume that this product would work great on those with less oily skin.
